Let’s get the legal stuff out of the way.

Hi there!  If you are reading this, you are probably either a lawyer or mad at us, or both.

We’re new to the blogging world, and we’re going to be testing recipes we get on the Internet.  Not our recipes.  Maybe your recipes, if you post them on the Internet and they look tasty.

Soooo . . . disclaimers:

1.  Unless otherwise indicated, we don’t hold the copyright to these recipes.  If you do and for any reason want us to remove a link, just send us a message.  We are happy to oblige.

2.  We are looking for that super awesome recipe.  If we don’t think your recipe is super awesome, that isn’t slander.

3.  As far as we know, we are engaging in fair use of your images, links, and recipes.  But if you hold the rights to any of this information and you disagree, see #1.  We’re not looking for a fight.

4.  We will try to be true to the recipe, but conditions may vary.

Whew!  Now that’s out of the way, recipe reviews begin April 1!  Hope to see you back here.

– Rachel

P.S.  I am a lawyer, but I’m not your lawyer.  This isn’t legal advice.

As far as I understand it, recipes can’t be copyrighted, but other writing and images can be. Am I right? That being said, I think that most bloggers would love to have their recipes and even entire posts reblogged as long as they receive credit and a link back to their sites. Oh, and thanks so much for visiting and following my blog. It’s very encouraging.
