Chicken Tikka Masala

If you read this blog, you probably already think we consider Mark Sisson a god, and I actually am starting to feel a little self-conscious about referencing his website so often.  I read Mark’s Daily Apple every single day, so it isn’t surprising that I find recipes there.

I’ll try to branch out a little more in the future.  But I really, really wanted to try this recipe.  It is not Mark Sisson’s recipe; it is from one of his readers.

Chicken Tikka Masala

It just looked soooo good!  But it took a freaky long-time to make, so it is late, and I’m tired, so I’ll just cut to it:

What I liked:

Very nutritious, lots of good fats, spicy, and super delicious.  This will freeze well, too.   It is also a beautiful dish.  I added spinach at the last because, what isn’t improved by spinach?

What I did not like:

Took two hours to prepare.  Ugh.  In the future, I will make this again, but I’ll make a bigger batch.

(Yes, I used frozen garlic and RealLemon.  It’s been a crazy, not-getting-to-the-grocery-store week.)
