If you read this blog, you probably already think we consider Mark Sisson a god, and I actually am starting to feel a little self-conscious about referencing his website so often. I read Mark’s Daily Apple every single day, so it isn’t surprising that I find recipes there.
I’ll try to branch out a little more in the future. But I really, really wanted to try this recipe. It is not Mark Sisson’s recipe; it is from one of his readers.
It just looked soooo good! But it took a freaky long-time to make, so it is late, and I’m tired, so I’ll just cut to it:
What I liked:
Very nutritious, lots of good fats, spicy, and super delicious. This will freeze well, too. It is also a beautiful dish. I added spinach at the last because, what isn’t improved by spinach?
What I did not like:
Took two hours to prepare. Ugh. In the future, I will make this again, but I’ll make a bigger batch.
(Yes, I used frozen garlic and RealLemon. It’s been a crazy, not-getting-to-the-grocery-store week.)
